Hello Mike, welcome to Arsenal Del Metalero are you thinking release a new album for this 2012?
That's the plan! The band is working on new tunes right now. Things are coming together nicely. It's always a slow and steady process, but it needs to be properly prepared. Hoping to record early 2012.What is the name for this new release?
The name of the new album is still under decision. We haven't decided yet, we'll post all updates/info as things come together more.How goes the process of write the lyrics?
Things are coming along smoothly. I take a few nights out here and there, to sit in silence in the dark with candles, setting the mood to trance out on, focus on things that anger me and write down the ideas on paper. I then take those notes and form them into lyrical patterns that can be fitted to the music.What do you expect for the recording session?
Were putting together our scratch tracks now and getting ready to go into the studio. Won't be in the studio though until early 2012..
The last album we recorded at Morrisound Studios in Tampa Florida, but we're still decided which studio to go to for this new album.Do you think back with Monstrosity with a south american tour soon?
It would be nice. I really enjoyed hanging out down in south american with everyone. crazy and fun times! Although the traveling totally killed us mentally and physically, it was a lot of flying and buses, packing and unpacking, dealing with check points and all that. then straight afterwords we had to fly to germany. If we do come again it won't be until after this new album is released so it could be another year or so, cause we were planning on hitting up a euro tour first.What was your perception about the peruvian metal scene?
Sick diehards! you guys know what metal and pain is all about. Hails!!Which place of Peru did you like the most, Mike?
Hmmm, hard question. well unfortunately we only played two shows in peru, one in Lima, and one in Arequipa. Both were awesome, I just wish we had more time to hang out before having to venture down into Chile.
It was a lot of rushing around from one show to the other. Right after we were done playing we had to try to quick pack up our shit and catch a van or bus and get back on the road.With respect to Vile how goes the sells of the new realease: Metamorphosis?
(Laughts) I have no idea. It just came out though in november and seems to be getting a lot of interest so I guess we'll see.Do you have any message for your fans?
Keep the death metal flame burning!, and get ready for Monstrosity's new album. The next time we come down I expect everyone to be chanting along with me to the new tunes! and hopefully we'll have more time to hang out too haha HAILS!!!
