Welcome to Arsenal Del Metalero, James well the band released in september a first album: "Red, White and Blood" how was the recording session for this album?
I wasn’t the drummer for the recording of the album. Sam Inzerra played all the tracks on the record. He and the band parted ways right before the release of the record. I was called in to do the NIN cover of “Wish”.

We covered “Wish” because it’s a song that Dukes likes. We were messing around with it in practice and decided to record it for fun. It made it’s way on the digipak for the first pressing of the record.

I have been friends with Dukes and Moschetti for over 20 years. When they were putting this band together, I had different priorities and couldn’t commit to the project. Sam and Moschetti were already working together at the time in Undivided, so it made sense to have Sam be the G Kill drummer. Last year I was playing drums for the NYHC band Merauder, and I would fill in for Generation Kill when Sam couldn’t do a few shows. When the Merauder gig ended, I jammed with G Kill because Sam had shoulder surgery. After playing with them for a while, they decided to make the change…and here I am.

We have all known each other for over 20 years. We played in many bands over the years in our local music scene, so we have seen a lot!!! We get along great, and have a lot of fun together.

Well, the album is based on a concept of a soldier who goes off to war, sees all sorts of atrocities and mentally decompensates into a deranged serial killer. The cover kind of represents all of the aspects of the concept of the record.

The album was painted by John Hocking Design Studios. Moschetti and Dukes came up wth the concept for it, and the cover is the artists interpretation of their concept.

We have not yet toured for this record and are setting things up for 2012. There are some tentative European summer festivals waiting for us, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet. We would love to come play South America!!! I know Dukes was just down there with Exodus and had an awesome time!! The metal fans down there are some of the most passionate in the world!!!

Yes!! Look out for Generation Kill in 2012!!! Check out our record and we look forward to seeing you on the road soon!! Thanks so much for the interview!!
