Interwiew to Onur Gazioğlu from Decaying Purity

Welcome to Arsenal Del Metalero Onur, well the first question for this interwiew how was back to record a new album after of 4 years?
Hi! In fact, to say 3 years is true. After the first album released, the shows had started inside and outside of Turkey. We played in many show during first year. But, the financial crisis that broken out towards the end of first year affected negatively to death metal scene, too. So, people started to stay at home, the shows had to been cancelled. This situation also affected the old label Grotesque Productions, and, it was finalized. Thus, during this period we were looking for a new label and composing new songs. In these days the works proceeded slowly due to lack of label and money. So we signed up to Sevared and that was great for us. With the support it gave we released the re-release version of first album named "Phases of Dimensional Torture" with bonus tracks as you know, and, start looking for recording studio to record 2nd album. In Turkey, to find a recording studio for this kind of music is very hard. At the end, by talking to studio who recorded re-release album, we set up everything, and, started to record.The album was released in July 5th so how goes the sells of this new album:The Existence of Infinite Agony ?
Sevared has got a very big sales network. We sold first album to outside but Sevared now doesn't give a chance. This is good. Now people may come to shows for us only and would want to buy CD by our hands. However, we know that sells are great. I heard that the second party 1000 CDs have been pressed.Why this name for this release?
The name was founded by Serkan, and, is the product of his sick brain! He had think about the thing that related to first album, then, boom!Who did the wild and great art for this album?
It's been drawn by great painter Toshihiro Egawa who had made covers for too many brutal bands like Krisiun, Defeated Sanity, Beheaded, Malignancy, Deeds of Flesh, etc.. Respects!Are you thinking give a tour for this 2012?
We always think but the conditions stop to us. I have a job, and have got 2 week vacation per year. Mustafa has to go to army in this summer. Maybe we may play in some shows in Europe. To play in a different continent, you have to be rich. Because organizators usually don't cover intercontinental flight tickets. If you're an European band -Europe is 2 times more expensive than here- and play in USA, your gains will be equal to your costs in best. So, if anyone cover our costs why not?By the way why was cancelled the split album with: Fecal Corpse and Blast Perversion?
In reality that was a hoax! A man I remember his name had sent the mail from myspace. He had told these bands and his project and wanted our records in CD. He wrote to mails everyday until we sent. When we sent, messages stopped and we couldn't reach him. Some months later, we asked this situation to other bands, but, they said that they had never heard anything about him and split.How goes the turkey metal scene?
Since some months, with decreasing the affects of the crisis, people have started to go to shows. As you know there's a few famous death metal bands who were also waiting like us. At now, started to play, too.Do you have a message for the fans?
Thank you very much for the supports they gave since the beginning. We always want to offer great death metal songs to them and will do this! Hope to meet them in a show. And thank you for your interest and support. I'm honoured. Death metal bless South America!
