Interview to Jean Pierre Haddad from Kimaera

Welcome to Arsenal Del Metalero, Jean Pierre i had the chance to find music of your band and is great, well i know the band released last year a single: "December Ends" is this a previous of the new album? by the way the fontcover of the single is a gothic angel, but what represent this angel in the single?
Thank you. The "angel" is symbolic. Cant really explain it in details. She has pale beautiful skin while her wings are black, with traces of blood on her fingers. That symbolizes the wickedness and harm that can be caused by something that can be apparently so pure and beautiful! Thumbs up for Anastasiya Shylina for this artwork!The band has 2 albums, the first one is: Ebony Veiled and the second one: Solitary Impact, how was the selling of these albums?
The selling was not bad at all, considering they are the first two releases. I think the first album sold more copies. The thing is these two albums didnt get enough exposure and promotion from the label as far as I see it. So we are currently looking for a major label for our next release.Well, what can you tell me of this possible new album?
Im not gonna reveal the name of the new album yet. But I can describe it as the synapse of East & West, Doom & Death, Light & then the overwhelming Darkness. It contains 10 tracks, and the recording is in its half stage!The band begun like a Heavy metal band and now is a Doom Goth death metal band and had a change of name Chimera, was the first name of the band, but why this musical change and name?
We played heavy metal classics when we first began in 2000. It was mainly to get used to the idea of playing music and we were beginners, we didn't have plans for the band back then. With time, we realized what is best for us and we evolved with it. Chimera had to be changed after a couple of years to the current name bcos apparently the name exists.The lyrics of the band are about: Sorrow and Death, but ussually in what you take inspiration?
I take inspiration from our personal lives and the critical moments and situations that we go through.The band had a loss of member, why this member left the band? and are you thinking in a new member of the band?
If you are talking about the bassist who left the band few months ago, well he joined back. The line up is complete!Is good to see the band have a female member, but how do you see the increasing number of females in lebanese metal scene?
They are pretty few, I cant think of many, and most of them sing.Had some possibilities to out of lebanon and play in other countries? and are you thinking in a tour soon?
Of course. There is nothing set yet, but once there is, we will be announcing them. Currently we are focusing on finishing recording of the third album.I hope back to do an interview with you, but to finish this, do you have a message for the fans of the band?
