Interwiew to Scott Clendenin from Death

Interwiew by Luis Landeo
Hail scott, for me is a big honor to do this interwiew with you, welcome to arsenal del metalero. well this 2012 Death is releasing a compilatory album what can you tell me about this compilatory album?
Luis, that would be a question for Eric Grief who is in charge of that. I do not know any details about the release. The name for this compilatory album is: Vivus, and this is a latin word, and means: live, Are you thinking about play with Death in a remembering instrumental concert?
I do not have any plans to do a show of this nature right now.Do you remember a special moment with Death? and why?
The Sound of Perseverance tour was very special and we had a lot of great gigs. I think the Dynamo Open Air 98 was special because of the great slot we had right before Pantera. It was great seeing Phil watch our set from the side of the stage. Also getting to meet Dime and just be a part of that great festival.Which was the most stressful or the nicest recording session moment with Death?
When we recorded, Chuck and Jim Morris were very helpful and it was a great atmosphere. We had been playing the material for quite some time before we went in so it was not that stressful. What moments do you miss of Chuck Schuldiner?
I just basically miss my friend and not having the chance to play with him or even hear what he would have done all these years. I’m sure there would have been many more groundbreaking albums.Do you have a message for the latin Death Fans and arsenal del metalero readers?
Just this, all the people that continue to keep his legacy alive are the reason he was so honest with his music. He was that kind of fan too. I’m thankful and proud to have been a small part of it.
