Interwiew to Paul Mcguire from Cerebral Bore

Interwiew by Luis Landeo
Welcome to Arsenal Del Metalero, Paul, nice to meet you and my first question when is the next tour of the band?
Our next tours will take place around February and March, but none of them are currently announced. But keep an eye on our facebook ect for announcements. The band release a first album in 2010: "Maniacal Miscreation" are you thinking for this 2012 release a new album?
We are working on a new album right now and it will be ready for release in 2012 for sure. Preferably before summer, but possibly after. The band release 2 videoclips: the bald cadaver and maniacal miscreation, are you thinking to release a new video? and what will be the concept in this possible video?
We do have plans for a 3rd music video from the debut album, but a concept is yet to be decided, and of course we will have some new videos for the 2nd album aswell.I know you are Devourment fans do you think is possible for this new album find a cover song of them? or maybe release a split album with them?
I can say for 100% definite, we wont be covering a devourment song, and we wont be releasing a split with them. Doing a release with devourment would be great, but both bands are preparing to make their major label releases and are more concentrated on those than anything else for now.By the way the band played in europe with Devourment how was play with them?
It was great, I got to see them make everyone go mental every night for 3 weeks. Theyre always guaranteed top get the crowd moving no matter where the show is. And ofcourse we were friends since way before the tour, so its always good to tour with people you know you will get along with. Are you thinking release a DVD soon?
We have talked about it, but it is probably something we would do at the time of the 2nd album release or not long after. Im sure it will happen before long, we are pretty much leaving it in the hands of our label for now as we are pretty busy with everything else going on in the band. The label of the band is: Earache how is work with this label?
Very good so far, they have dedicated a lot of time and effort into Cerebral bore, and its something that will become a lot more present for the release of our Earache debut, or so we are told. Are you thinking to come play in South America?
We have nothing planned, but it is a territory that we always mention when we start speaking about where we want to play. But we are open to any offers to tour there, and we are ready to do it hopefully in 2012.What is like to play in a brutal death metal fronted by a female do you think this helps the band cross over in the metal realm and gives more interest to the female audience?
Yeah probably, I would be stupid to presume that it doesn’t help. And how do you see the increasing number of females in Death Metal?
To be honest I don’t really see it increasing, they are still out numbered by a million to one when compared to male involvement. But there has never been anything stopping women being in bands, so I find it a bit weird that women are so applauded for their involvement, men and women do the same jobs in pretty much every other walk of life, so I don’t really see what the big deal is.Well to finish this interwiew do you have a message for the fans?
Yes I do, get the campaign moving to bring Cerebral bore to South America in 2012. We are available and ready to do it, so stop fucking about and get it sorted, or youll get jabbed.
