Interview to Neža Katana of Mist

Hails Neža, welcome to Arsenal Del Metalero, how are you? and is interesting find a band with all female members, tell me how the band started? and why this propose of only female member?
Hello! We are great, just having a beer at the bar. It started when three drunk girls met at some Metal gig and decided to form a band. Don't know why, it was The Devil's will (laughs).

Is totally great know the band recorded a demo with a good sound, but why only 2 tracks? and how was produce this demo in an independent way? and why name it like: "demo 2013" and dont use a word to name it? 
They were the first two songs we ever wrote and they represent a milestone on our musical path. The demo was produced by our friend (and currently our session guitarist) Benjamin Kic. We just didn't think it needed to be called anything other than Demo because we didn't expect it to get so much attention. We wanted to show a bit of our music to our friends and now we're making a rerelease and sending them to USA, Australia, Norway.

Tell me about the concept of lyrics of the band? and why this name of: Mist? 

The lyrics of both songs, which are on our demo, describe a state of mind, where one is trapped in his unrealistic sense of reality, resulting in desperation and terror. To us, mist represents a veil of uncertainty and it describes the atmosphere of our music well.

Something I would like to know how was received this production in the slovenian metal scene?
The demo was accepted very well, but our metal scene is small because we're a small country. There was more interest from other parts of the world, and for that we are very thankful to our friend Mr. Hellfucker for helping us with promotion.

I like the fontcover of this demo is very interesting is a draw people can remember easy, but what mean this animal skull in the concept of lyrics of this demo?
To us it means something mystical, secretive and it adds a special feeling to the music.

Have you in mind record a full lenght? and of the same way have a tour to promote your work?
We are always working on new material and of course our dream is to release an album when we feel we are ready to. We don't have any tours booked at the moment, just a few concerts. December 6th we are playing in Vienna as an opening act for Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats, and that is what we are preparing for right now.

I read the band had the chance to play live, how was this last shows?
Our last show was with slovenian speed metal maniacs Vigilance and that was quite an honor to us. We are still a young band but our performance improves with every gig. In general our live gigs are accepted really well.
