Hails my friend, welcome again to Arsenal Del Metalero, practicly after a good year I back to interview you, but this interview is about one we had pendient about the show you played in Rock Al Parque, so how was play in Colombia? and how was your first experience in play in that country?
Hey my brother, thanks for having me in your Zine once again! Playing in Colombia was a really great experience for me personally, as well as a great experience for the band. It was my first time playing in front of over 100,000 people, so that marked a milestone for me! It was also our first time playing a gig in South America, and we really felt welcomed by everyone involved; the press, the festival crew, the other bands, and our amazing fans! We actually were really surprised at how many true fans we have in Colombia.
What was your perception of the colombian scene? and what was the setlist Pro pain played? what bands from colombia called your attemption?
To me, the scene in Bogota appeared to be quite strong. I noticed a great crowd reaction and many circle pits while the Colombian bands were playing. I actually didn't get much of a chance to really focus on and watch these bands because we were so busy with the press at the festival, so unfortunately I really can't answer the question of which Colombian bands called my attention.
Regarding the setlist, these are the songs we played:
Deathwish
Stand Tall
Sucks To Be You
Un-American
Neocon
No Way Out
Unrestrained
Three Minutes Hate
Gone Fishin'
In For The Kill
Fuck It
Draw Blood
The Shape of Things to Come
Johnny Black
State of Mind
Foul Taste of Freedom
Shine
Make War Not Love
A question every fan will want to know, how is the experience behind the stage, I mean the experience in back stage how is the relationship between all the bands played in that show?
The experience backstage at Rock al Parque was a lot of fun, but really hectic. As I mentioned, the press was out in full force, which I certainly have no complaints about, but it entailed a full day of interviews for television and radio. It was a really fun sort of chaos. It was really nice to spend some of our free time with the other bands, though. For example, Exodus and Pro-Pain have had a great friendship for many years now, as well as the boys in Soulfly, and I'm really glad we were able to all play together in Colombia. It was so much fun just chatting and sharing stories with those guys.
Actually Pro Pain will have a new tour what countries are confirmed to play? and is the band thinked in back to southamerica and play in more countries?
We certainly would like to come back to South America for more gigs, but nothing has been planned there right now. Hopefully we will be returning there soon! We do have another European tour coming up, which starts in Holland on November 29th. We then go on to play in Belgium, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and Poland.
